Send the results files and each meet gets its own page. Once a meet is loaded, every performance in it flows through to the athlete profiles, the season progressions and the national records check automatically. Nobody has to type a result twice.
What happens to a result once it is in
- Load the meet. One Meet Manager export, one meet.
- Match the athletes. Names are matched to profiles, and anything ambiguous is held for a human rather than guessed.
- Check every mark. Each performance is compared against the standing national record for that event, gender and age group.
- Flag the records. Anything that beats a standing record is raised on the admin dashboard for ratification before it goes public.
- Update the profiles. Personal bests, season bests and progression charts follow from the results, not from anyone editing them by hand.
