Samasoni Hewitt clears 2.05m for a high jump personal best
Samasoni Hewitt cleared 2.05m at the Winter Track and Field Series for a personal best in the high jump.
The jump came before he was registered to compete for the Cook Islands, so it does not count as a national record. His Cook Islands record is 2.00m, set at the Pacific Mini Games in Koror in 2025.
The Senior Men jumper has progressed from 1.82m in 2021, and went on to represent the Cook Islands in the high jump at the XXIII Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
