Estelle Short runs a 60m personal best at the World Indoor Championships
Estelle Short ran 7.93s in the 60m at the World Athletics Indoor Championships, a personal best.
Patricia Taea's 7.90 from 2018 remains the Cook Islands national record, and Estelle is now three hundredths of a second away from it.
Earlier in the season the Senior Women sprinter ran a 100m personal best of 12.28s at the Porritt Classic in Hamilton, and she went on to race the 100m at the XXIII Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
