Cook Islands National Athletics Championships 2026 Wrap-Up
The 2026 Cook Islands National Athletics Championships delivered three days of outstanding competition in Rarotonga. Elijah Poila led the way with four senior titles, while U16 sprinter Samuel Ravuaceva claimed a triple crown in the 100m, 200m and long jump. Antonia Wearing dominated the U18 women's throws with shot put and discus gold, and Roimata George took the hammer title. The championships once again showcased the growing depth of talent across every age group.
